I set foot in my first yoga class nearly 20 years ago. Since then, I’ve fallen in and out of love with the practice. But what I realized is that the Western idea of yoga wasn’t serving me (truthfully, I’m not sure that it’s serving any of us).
I wasn’t interested in complicated poses and lululemon leggings. I wanted to explore more of the origins of the ancient practice and how it is rooted in inclusivity, diversity and unity. So I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2020, followed a 300-hour training in 2021.
Yoga is about more than the asanas, or poses. It is a true mind-body connection. I believe that wellness is a vital part of our journey and I offer personalized yoga sessions along with corporate wellness programs to help you find balance and peace in your busy life.

A soulful, feel-good yoga class set to the smooth sounds of your favorite R&B hits. This is your permission to move like yourself, breathe like you mean it, and show up exactly as you are. Think deep stretches, strong flows, and a whole lot of self-love. Come as you are, and leave feeling like the main character in your own healing journey. Taught in-person at The Aux Wellness Collective every Thursday at 7pm.
